After that, Joe Ferrell started treating people's bikes like his own and cleaned, polished, and tuned up about a half dozen bikes. I think the next video will definitely incorporate some of this so that all those out in cubicle land can get to know our fearless leaders.
The last few days our morning have been delayed so that everyone can stay in their sleeping bag a few more minutes. It is definitely not worth getting out the door and starting the daily ride until after the sun has come up and increased the temperature to something bearable. This morning was no exception, we hit the road when the temperature was nice and were in store for an extremely beautiful ride. Check out some of the pics below from our ride through the Blue Mesa Reservoir recreation area, but keep in mind they don't really do the area justice!

(Mark Letenzi hanging out!)
Our ride today was highlighted by some decent climbs, but more importantly some killer downhills that stretched for a while. Ben King and I definitely bombed down the hills while drafting off of each other to hit a max speed of 48 mph! It was a lot of fun, but unfortunately for blogger land that basically eliminates all chance that I can take pictures while riding = sketchy...
Our end destination tonight was/is Montrose, CO which is another scenic town/city of about 12,000 people. Nearby is what looks to be the awesome Black Canyon National Park that I would scope out if I wasn't traveling by bike! After arriving in Montrose, I definitely hit up my second large Dairy Queen Blizzard of the trip. Today's flavor was cookie dough whereas last time I hit up the always delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
